The ROYAL NIGHT: A Tribute to the Seniors

March 9, 2013 marks the night that our graduating class for this school year will never forget. It was the Royal Night. The night where their younger schoolmates honor them and bid farewell. It was also a night where the talents of LSIS Students were showcased may it be in media, performing arts or music. A lot of videos were edited and shown. The 2nd year students performed live their own version of Les Miserables. Our high school band performed their own compositions. Three of our lovely girls from the elementary also danced. Two students from the high school serenaded everyone with a wonderful song. A few girls from high school also imparted beautiful song numbers. And the highlight of the night, the Seniors' waltz. The Seniors' came in with an escort/muse and danced. The night was memorable. Everyone looked very splendid. The girls with their gowns and the boys with their coats. The night so memorable, the Royal Night.

Two opening numbers at The Morning Show

LSIS Elementary and High School were given the privilege to open a local TV morning show entitled "The Morning Show." The Elementary Ensemble sang "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" last February 5 while the High School Ensemble sang "The prayer of the Children" last February 6. You can see the videos below of the Elementary and High School respectively.

LSIS joins the Junior Student Convention

This year's Junior Student Convention was held here in Bacolod City. It was last January 21-25, 2013 that 29 Schools from Visayas and Mindanao converged and compete in Academic, Athletic, Art, Platform, and Music events. Living Stones International School is one of these schools and has joined this event for the 5th time.

LSIS students, parents, coaches and staff did much preparation before this event while offering every practice time to God. LSIS students were blessed to be part of this event not only because every student went home with at least a Medal, but because it gave their God-given talents an opportunity to shine and develop. LSIS garnered 19 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals. LSIS was awarded 5 out of 6 trophies, 1st Place Over-all in Academics and Platform and 3rd Place Over-all in Athletics.

This was a humbling experience for the school. All the trophies, certificates, fame and honor is humbly laid down on the feet of Jesus. All glory to Jesus Christ!

Now with visitors.
